- Finland's first Nature Conservation Act 1923
- Uncirculated and wear-protected collector’s item
- A historically low mintage – only 400,000 coins
The Nature Conservation Act is one of the most important means of safeguarding Finland’s natural diversity. Its significance was already understood one hundred years ago.
The beetle (Tragosoma depsarium) depicted on the obverse side of the special euro coin reminds us of the importance of the Nature Conservation Act.
