Honouring Finnish wellbeing
The health and social services reform is one of the most significant administrative reforms in Finland’s history. From the beginning of 2023, responsibilities over social, health and emergency services were transferred to new wellbeing service counties. The goal of this internationally unique innovation is to secure and further improve the wellbeing of Finnish citizens.
This important theme is also highlighted as the topic of the 2023 two-euro commemorative coin.
